Time to recap the past week. Today I saw that the temperatures are going to go up a bit this week which put me in a really good mood. Spring cannot come soon enough…
Empties. Nada. I am working my way through some body oils (I have quite a few at the moment). I am almost at the end of the Osmia Organics Body Oil in the scent Sunset*, which smells incredible (like anything Osmia).
Repurchased. I finally received a new bottle of my skin-fixing toner, the YULI Cocoon Elixir, because I try to never be without it (you can read my full review here). I also ordered a new pouch of Prtty Peashun, this time in the color Deep Dark, because as soon as the weather changes my legs and arms are definitely going to need help. In case you are not familiar with Prtty Peashun, you can read my review here. It is the best way I have found to cheat “better body skin” and get a subtle glow during the process. Lipstick Love & Lipstick Swatches. Nudus lipstick in 27 Kisses has definitely been my go-to, especially for daytime. I love everything about it: color, texture, staying power. However, this week a lovely reader asked me to swatch the ILIA Beauty Lipstick Crayon in Dress You Up next to Nudus 27 Kisses* to see how the colors compared, and she was right to think that they are very similar. Dress You Up is a bit more mauve and the texture is not as creamy as 27 Kisses. However, they are very similar so if you own Dress You Up you may want to take that into consideration before purchasing 27 Kisses. Honestly, I prefer 27 Kisses because it has a bit more warmth to it (which I think suits me better) and because the formula is more emollient, but they are almost dupes of each other.
