What’s In My Makeup Bag #4

Whats-in-my-makeup-bag-4Although I am totally over the rainy, humid, and super hot South Carolinian summer days, I am definitely not looking forward to seeing the sun go down earlier. I am holding onto my last summery makeup days and have been using a few new products that I am very excited about. So take a peek at what is currently in my makeup bag.

The bag – Being slightly obsessed with striped patterns, especially in the navy blue/white combo, I wanted this cute makeup bag from See Design the moment I saw it. It is made in 100% cotton, comes in different sizes (I believe mine is a medium size and I can fit a whole face of makeup in it!) and looks nice and sturdy. See Design cosmetic bags come in a bunch of cute, fun, and colorful patterns and they are very well-made.

The makeup – The base has been pretty standard with my W3LL People Concealer #2 and my Afterglow Mineral Foundation in Tan. This foundation matches me like no other and has a semi-matte, but very luminous finish that I love. On to the bronzer, I told you (in my last post) that I am using the So Bronze* powder from Jane Iredale in the shade #2 and the bronzer side of the compact is really, really nice. A thin layer of Un-powder over my T-Zone and I am good to go. The newest addition to my bag has been the Jane Iredale PureBrow Gel in Blonde*. I have been using this gel every single day because not only does it keep my brows in place, but it also makes them appear a bit fuller. Next, to the eyes, I have been using just a light wash of color over my lids with Afterglow eye shadow in Baroque and Ecco Bella eye shadow in Deep Taupe* quickly swiped in the crease (I will write more about my favorite eye shadows very soon, so if you are hunting for pressed eye shadows with good texture and color payoff keep an eye on my next makeup posts.). As for lashes, I have been faithful to my Kjaer Weis mascara, because makeup is fun, but raccoon eyes are not in trend this season. On my cheeks I have been loving the Ecco Bella blush in the shade Coral Rose*, which is a pretty peachy-pink. It is almost like a powder translation of my favorite cream blush, Vapour Beauty Blush in Spark. Ilia Beauty Blossom Lady has been my lip choice for a little while. I almost forgot how much I like this shade! A warm pink that lightly stains my lips and keeps them moisturized for hours.

What’s in your makeup bag at this time? Have you compiled a Fall makeup wishlist yet? I have!
