Weekend Catch-Up #2

Weekly Catch Up 2

Although I did not have the chance to post much this week, many lovely things happened. You guys seemed to like the idea of reading a quick week summary, so here it is…

Giveaway: If you have not entered yet, you can still participate in my giveaway of the Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics Vitamin B Cleansing Oil & Makeup Remover. Please keep in mind that this giveaway is for those outside of the US & Canada. I wanted it that way because while One Love Organics is sold outside of US/Canada, the Elizabeth Dehn for OLO products are not. It is a must-try skincare product for anyone, especially for those who love to wear makeup. It does the job very well, provides the most gentle exfoliation, and smells amazing. It is my most-repurchased product e-vah! If you have never heard about this cleansing oil you can read more about it here. Make sure to enter!

Mini-Haul: Anna has been raving about the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel for ages and that made me very curious. I took advantage of a recent Cult Beauty Sale to pick it up and although I have a few cleansers that I would like to finish first, I am not sure that I will be able to wait until then. Should I wait or break it open and go for it?

Other Purchases: Treat Collection Nail Polishes, (Dinner With Friends will probably be my Fall go-to shade), more Yoshii Towels, Men’s hair products for Mr. Genuine Glow to try, an Ilia lipstick that I thought I didn’t need but I was madly wrong, and a few more things still coming in that I purchased with the Labor Day Sales.

Labor Day Sales: I have been sharing the Labor Day Sales that I have found on Facebook, so you can check that out if you want to take advantage of some coupons and offers. The Detox Market is currently offering 15% off on all orders $100+ with code LBD14; Spirit Beauty Lounge is offering free shipping (no code required); Beautyhabit is offering free shipping on orders $50+ with code FREESHIP, and if you spend $100+ you receive a $20 bounceback voucher and free shipping with code EGIFT. I am not sure if I have mentioned Beautyhabit before, but their selection is lovely. They have quite a few, niche “green” skincare brands that are great. They are one of the few retailers of Ganache, my new favorite lip balm and they have my favorite pattern of Yoshii Towels.

Soap Lovers: Acure Organics has launched new soaps*, and they all smell so delicious: Cinnamon Chai Latte, Oatmeal+Apple Pie, Superfruit+Citrus, Mint Cookie+Omega7, and Pumpkin+Calendula. They are a lovely treat for shower and they are absolutely non-drying like most soaps are. Also available at Whole Foods.

May Lindstrom New Launch. Dulcis in fundo (sweetest part comes last), the ever-radiant May Lindstrom has officially launched her new face mist called Jasmine Garden. Everyone who has tried it is in love with it (“it smells divine”, “it gives a beautiful glow”) and I am counting the hours until I can spritz my face with it. Are you going to indulge, too?

I hope you have a great week!
