If you would have looked inside my purse about a month ago, you would have found at least a few lip balms thrown in there. Instead, from the moment that I started to use the Tata Harper Lip Treatment in Be Adored, it has become the only lip product that I carry with me all the time, along with my optional lip color of choice for the day. Not only does it makes my lips feel truly comfortable and moisturized for hours, but it also gives a pretty, subtle color that does not require a mirror for the application.
The texture is very soft and melts on the lips, like butter. It immediately conditions and moisturizes the lips without making them feel greasy or look overly shiny. Instead, it feels like a thin coat of silk. However, it is not meant to be simply a lip conditioner, but an anti-aging lip treatment that plumps the lips and reduces the appearance of lip lines. The key ingredients are: Wheat Extract, to plump the lips and make them look fuller; Date Palm Extract to boost collagen; Spanish Lavender to help inhibit muscle contractions; Rhubarb, Acai, and Green Tea oils for environmental protection and deep hydration. Thankfully, my lips are not in an advanced phase of aging and I don’t have significantly pronounced lines, but I do notice that my lips look healthier and a bit fuller, (just not in a drastic way).
In addition to silky texture and rejuvenating ingredients, Be Adored also provides a hint of raspberry color. It is quite sheer, but gives a lovely soft color, that looks like the natural color of lips after an intense smooching session (like the description?). The scent of it is also lovely; fruity, but not overpowering and it definitely does not linger.
My only wish is that it came in a slightly larger in size, because it goes by so quickly! I have already used up a quarter of it and although is a luxury treat, I will happily repurchase it. Definitely a must-have for all lip product hoarders and for low-maintenance gals who do not like to bother with lipstick and want effortlessly pretty lips. I look forward to using it in the colder months to see how well it will protect my lips from harsh weather.
