Weekly Catch-Up #40

Weekly Catch Up 40

How in the world did we get to 40 catch-ups?! I remember when I started writing these recaps after I came back from last year’s A Night for Green Beauty in LA  and it does not feel like it was such a long time ago! Here’s what I was up to for the past seven days…

NEW Kjaer Weis. On June 10th, Kjaer Weis launched three new makeup products and they all look like perfect shades for Summer. I have only had the chance to try the cream bronzer called, Dazzling*. I will swatch for you this week (hopefully), but I plan to also buy the eyeshadow in the color Grace, because it looks like a beautiful, versatile shade of light brown. The cream blush, called Happy, is a bright pink, which I think would be especially flattering on medium to dark skin tones. The description specifies that it is more highly pigmented than the other cream blushes from the line, which are all already rich in color. You can check out the new products here. Have any of these caught your attention?

Purchased. After trying a tiny sample of the One Love Organic Coconut+Salt Mineral Body Lotion, I immediately wanted a full-size. I am more of a body oil type of person, but this lotion is the exception. It has a delicate, pleasant coconut scent that would not offend the most sensitive noses, and it is not heavy and greasy, but very moisturizing. So so good. I bought it at The Detox Market.

Re-purchased. This week I  bought two Blissoma Natural Deodorants, one in the scent Citrus for me, and one in the scented Juniper for my husband. I like to carry mine in my bag so that if I ever feel the need to refresh myself (in Florida it happens often), I just spritz this. I still use the Meow Meow Tweet cream deo scented with grapefruit after showers, which works great even on hot Summer days. If you have not found a natural deodorant that works for you yet, these two may be worth trying. You can find the Meow Meow Tweet cream deodorant here, and the Blissoma spritz deodorants here.

Nail Polish love ♥♥♥. Before I received it, I expected to like this nail polish, but not to the point where I don’t ever want to take it off. It’s a nail lacquer from Jin Soon called Kookie White, but it’s not exactly white. It is more like a pale blue with a gray-ish tone to it. More photos, swatches, and formula review coming soon. If you live in the US you can find it here, while if you live in Europe you can find it here.

Odacité + Moon Juice Clair De Lune*. I just wanted to write a quick update about this skincare duo because quite a few people asked me to share my first impressions. So far I am very pleased, and I mean very pleased. I have been using the two products every evening because in the morning I am not using any face oils (it has become too hot and humid down in FL and my skin does better with a light lotion or no moisturizer at all). The serum has the most interesting consistency; it’s completely non greasy. It’s the face oil with the highest viscosity I have tried, and once I pat 2-3 drops of it all over my face, it immediately absorbs leaving the skin glowing but with zero greasiness. Not that it matters to me (as far as skincare is concerned), but the peach oil makes it smell divine. I can’t talk about long term results yet, but let’s put it this way: if I accidentally dropped the bottle tonight, I would buy one right away. You can read more about it here.

Pharmaca Sale. Pharmaca is offering 30% off your entire purchase. Ends tonight. Find it here and use code ENJOY. You can buy W3LL People, Acure Organics, Pacifica, Gabriel Cosmetics and Juice Beauty.

Have a great week!
