Kjaer Weis Precious Cream Blush and Angelic Eyeshadow

Cream Blush Kjaer Weis Precious

You guys know me, I looove Kjaer Weis makeup! So I was super excited to see new colors launching for Spring 2016, especially after seeing that they were pastel colors, instead of brights (I am such a romantic girl). The launch includes one eyeshadow and one cream blush, and while the eyeshadow is a cool toned pink and the cream blush a warm, peachy color they compliment each other beautifully for a true Spring party on your face.

The eyeshadow is called Angelic*. Is a soft pink with very good pigmentation and a matte finish. While I do not typically wear pink eyeshadow, I do find this color to look flattering on me. I use it all over the lid up to my crease, add a little Grace eyeshadow (a neutral taupe color) in the crease for a little extra definition, and then I line my upper lid with brown eyeliner (currently using Honest Beauty eye pencil). The mix of pink and soft taupe keeps it fresh and Spring-y. I am digging this combo. I am also a big fan of the soft, blendable texture that tends not to crease at all.

The cream blush is called Precious*. It is a pastel, peach color with excellent pigmentation and a luminous finish. By luminous, I mean that it makes your skin glow, without looking greasy. It blends beautifully, and on my skin, like all Kjaer Weis blushes, it lasts all day long. In the photos above and below I also wore it on my lips because I thought it would give a bit of a Bardot vibe to the look, and I am a huge fan of peachy, nude lips. However, it is not meant to be used on the lips, so if you want to apply it on your lips you want to make sure that your lips are well exfoliated, otherwise, it will emphasize lines and extra skin. A good nude lip color from the same line is the Lip Tint in color Dream State.

As usual, Kjaer Weis did not disappoint with these new colors. If you are already a fan of their textures, and you think that these colors would suit your complexion, these newbies will please you, too. If you aren’t familiar with this makeup brand, you may also check out my previous reviews of their products. The line is manufactured in Italy and the ingredients used are certified organic/natural by the Italian authority. The brand also promotes sustainability by using refillable compacts, so you may buy a refill to replace your makeup when it’s used up (not to mention that the compacts are absolutely gorgeous!). You can also watch my Youtube video about the previous collection to see how I apply the Kjaer Weis makeup (spoiler: you can also use fingers!). Watch the video here.
