It is advertised as an alternative to petroleum jelly, so if you are a big Vaseline user you need to check this out. Instead of mineral oils and paraffin Waxelene contains four simple, natural ingredients: organic soybean oil (non-GMO), beeswax, organic rosemary oil, and vitamin E oil (made from non-GMO soybeans).
It is quite thick and rich, so a small amount goes a long way, and the texture is soft and spreads like butter. It is unscented, but has a subtle honey smell to it that quickly fades after applied. As I apply it, my dry skin immediately feels more hydrated, comfortable, and much softer. I like to use it at night before bed as a repairing treatment for lips and hands, and wherever else my body needs extra moisture. By the time I wake up in the morning, my hands are soft and my lips are plump and smooth.
Waxelene is a true, multi-purpose product. With the jar that I received, I also got a little brochure with a list of 100 ways to use this product. In fact, if I had to pick one must-have product for the colder season, this would be it.
