Kahina Night Cream

Kahina Giving Beauty Night Cream Review

You might have heard by now that Kahina Giving Beauty has added a Night Cream* to their skincare range. When I read that the precious Kahina Argan oil (the one I have been raving about for a while) was one of the two key ingredients, I got quite excited about it. The second key ingredient is red wine grapes, which are high in Resveratrol. Resveratrol has powerful antioxidant properties that counterattack the oxidative stress that our skin cells are exposed to (cause of premature aging). In a few words, this cream is meant to restore your skin while you are catching some ZzZzzZZzz. But wait! It gets better…

The texture is fabulous. Kahina’s Night Cream is very rich, but not heavy, and definitely not greasy. It melts into the skin quickly leaving no residue behind. It is also quite concentrated, so the tiniest amount is enough to cover a large area of my face. The first time I used it I got just a finger scoop of product and it turned out to be way too much. I like to either mix a small amount with two/three drops of argan oil and press it into the skin, or I go for a thin layer of argan oil first and then add a little cream in the areas of my face where I need extra moisture and repair.

The beautiful texture alone would be enough for me to love this cream because a rich moisturizer that does not clog/irritate my skin has not been easy to find. Rich moisturizers also tend to make my T-Zone more oily, while this night cream keeps my skin perfectly balanced. I am also thrilled  that when I want to skip face oil at night, (on days when I don’t want my hair line to get oily because I don’t have time to wash it the following morning), I can finally rely on this cream, which contains my skin’s BFF (Argan Oil) anyway. So far I have been loving the results, because every morning my skin looks smooth and supple, with no excess sebum on my forehead and nose.

After trying so many products from Kahina I have come to the conclusion that they are very compatible with my skin type, and the night cream is no exception. If you are looking for a good night-time treatment and you like the idea of a light, quickly absorbed cream, this is totally worth trying. It has a luxury price tag, but it delivers and you get a lot of use from one jar because you need so little product for each application. You can find it at The Detox Market and KahinaGivingBeauty.com
