Wednesday Wishlist #3

Wednesday Wishlist #3

Last week I did not have anything new to add to my wishlist, but this week I have been constantly bouncing between each one of these items trying to decide on what to try first. I just would like them all!

1. Evan Healy Immortelle Facial Tonic HydroSoul. It is described as an effective hydrosol with exceptional anti-inflammatory and healing properties for irritated, sensitive skin with blemishes (my skin profile right there). It is made with only the purest ingredients and without alcohol, preservatives, artificial fragrances, GMOs, petroleum-based products, parabens.

2. Marie Veronique Organics Pacific Skin Lightening Duet. A serum & topical supplement that can be mixed with any moisturizer/oil of choice that lightens, brightens and evens the skin tone. It contains Undecylenoyl Phenylalanine, which is an amino acid chain that naturally brightens the skin, and it is made without hydroquinone (which bleaches the skin and potentially removes more pigment than desired.)

In case you missed my previous wishlist post, I shared my current skin concerns.

3. Dr.Hauschka Translucent Bronzing Concentrate. This is such an interesting product to me because it could be mistaken for a common liquid bronzer, but it is actually described as a skincare product that refines the tone of the skin and offers a light coverage of imperfections like blemishes and other skin irregularities. In addition to that, it gives a subtle bronzed glow and a healthy appearance. I so need this product.

Have you tried any of these products?

Oooh Lilly I am dying for a hydrosol too! I went through a rose face spray from Eminence that my mom gave me a while back and loved it but didn’t repurchase – but now I’m hearing all these awesome things about hydrosols, especially for summer.
Even more important: I really hope you get a chance to review some of these skin-brightening products you’ve wishlisted. I have pretty horrible hyperpigmentation from acne (my skin is super-prone to it), and the only thing that I’ve tried that’s worked is Kahina – but even those results weren’t enough, especially for the small bottle/price. I’m getting ready to go over-the-counter (though I am hoping to get an azaleic acid prescription, which is at least still plant-derived)!

    • I am actually already testing some brightening products, but I am going to give them enough time to produce some results before reviewing them. They are all quite expensive, so it is very important that I give them a little extra time.

As for the hydrosol, I am definitely going for this Evan Healy Immortelle one that I included in the image. So many bloggers are raving about it, it must be really really great! :)

Can’t go wrong with EH Immortelle, or any EH hydrosol for that matter.

I’m half-way through the Pacific topical C, using it with my DIY, and so far so good. Time will tell. The only thing I have a concern about is the capsules seem to have uneven amounts. Sometimes I pull one out that hardly has anything in it, and sometimes it’s almost full. Usually somewhere in between. Maybe I got a weird batch!

        • Oh no! Have you contacted the company to let them know about it? Maybe they will replace your capsules! I am definitely curious to see what they can do for my sun spots! I am using their anti-aging kit right now and I am loving it. My skin seem to be doing very well!

Thank you for stopping by :)

I did contact MVO, and just got a reply that there is some variability, though they work to minimize it. The batch I happened to buy seems to be on the extreme end. They already had plans to start including a message about variation with the product. It’s nice when a company is so responsive to customers. I’m really liking the product, and will likely repurchase. I look forward to hearing what you think if you try it!

Second you on the Dr. Hauschka. Super intrigued…

    • I know, right? I imagine it as a light, natural -looking tan that magically masks my skin’s imperfections.. I can’t wait to try it! Thank you for your comment!

  • asti

That toner sounds too good to be true, really would love to try Evan Healy products! Plus the name “Immortelle” is quite angelic haha.

I have heard so many good things about Dr. Hauschka’s bronzing concentrate, I think you will really love it. I don’t personally need it but would love to hear what you think!

    • Hi Asti, I am definitely going to purchase the HydroSoul. So many people have been raving about it, and I loved what I read about this company. I plan on trying it soon!

  • Get the Evan Healy Immortelle! It is so great for acne-prone // oily skin. I’m lucky that my local co-op had trial sizes for $8 to try, but now I’m a bit mad they don’t have full sizes because I need to keep this holy grail toner well-stocked! I bought two more trial sizes to keep my collection high.

    • Hi Kim, I remember you like this hydrosol! I am trying it soon for sure. I am testing out some products right now so I can’t rush into trying the Immortelle, but I will let you know how it works for me as soon as I start to use it :)

I’ve been using the Dr Hauschka bronze concentrate for years (6 to be exact). And I absolutely love it. It’s an amazing product. I use it as a liquid bronzer year round – it enhances your tan (in the summer) and gives you a nice glow! You can blend it with you moisturizer and it just glides on.

    • Hi Medeya, thanks so much for sharing. That is some serious love for a product, it must be so nice! Can’t wait to try it!

  • Thank you Kathy, I will look into the Intelligent Nutrients line. If a product is really effective I am usually willing to pay extra, so I will check them out for sure.

About the Tinted SPF, I am not a big fan of foundations/tinted moisturizers, because I like to wear the least amount of layers possible on my skin, but I agree with you that a tinted SPF is a quick fix. Have you found one you really like? I would need a very light one, because most of them make me look shiny and greasy…
