#ManiMonday: Jin Soon in Kookie White

Jin Soon Kookie White Nail Polish review

I had been wanting to find a flattering, cool, white-ish nail polish for quite a while, but I was left quite unimpressed by the ones I tried. I do like pure white, but I get tired of it quickly. Kookie White by Jin Soon is not only a unique and cool shade of white, but unlike most white-based nail polishes, it also has an outstanding formula.

The color is not white; it’s more like the palest baby blue with a hint of gray. The color payoff is excellent: it’s opaque in one coat, although the second coat perfects it. Once applied, it evens out beautifully and dries quickly. Most importantly, it is very long-wearing. It comes with a very user-friendly brush that is not too long, not too fat, but just the right size (which helps a sloppy nail painter like me to get the job done).

Jin Soon nail polish is 5-free: it does not contain any formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin and camphor and is not tested on animals.

This was my first Jin Soon nail polish, but I definitely plan to get more soon. On my wishlist are the Power Coat and Top Coat next; the Power Coat has great reviews and is supposed to further the longevity of the nail color even more. The Top Gloss is a high gloss top coat that is described as quick-drying and chip-proofing. Then of course there are so many beautiful colors to choose from, starting with Coral Peony, Auspicious, and Blue Iris. I bought mine here,  but you can also check out Jin Soon’s official website. I will have more swatches and fun things to share about Jin Soon very soon ;)

Have you tried any Jin Soon product? How do you feel about white nail polish, yay or nay?
