As promised, I am back with photos of the other two Kjaer Weis lip tints that were just launched a few weeks ago. If you missed the first post, check out photos and swatches of the lip tint in the shade Beloved* here. The two colors that I am showing you today are: Amazed, a soft lilac and Rapture, a bright fuchsia.

Amazed*, the soft lilac lip tint, is sheer but can be built up to a more vibrant bubblegum, lavender-pink color. If applied with fingers it gives a sheer pale pink look. If applied with a lip brush, it can be built up to the color you can see me wearing in the photo above. It is free of shimmer, but has a slightly glossy finish. Compared to the only other pale pink I own in my natural collection, ILIA Hold Me Now, Amazed leans more toward a lavender color, is more pigmented, and more glossy. As you may remember from previous posts, I did not get any use out of the ILIA Hold Me Now lip conditioner because it barely shows up on my lips, so if you are on the market for a pale pink with a blue tone, I would pick Amazed instead.

Rapture*, the bright fuchsia, is more pigmented and is surprisingly easy to wear. In the pan it looks like it has a predominant blue tone to it, but on my lips it looks more warm. I think that this is a universally flattering shade and would look great on everyone. I just dab it on my lips with a clean finger if I want a light stain, or I use a lip brush if I want to pack on a bit more color and achieve a more polished, bright lip look. I expect to get much use out of this color in Summer, because it will likely complement a light tan beautifully. Also, wearing Rapture really does not require much makeup on cheeks and eyes because even when worn alone, it brightens up the face in a lovely way.

Before the launch of the three new shades, the Kjaer Weis lip product range was missing blue-toned colors, so this was a fantastic addition to the line. My favorite of the three is definitely Rapture for its outstanding, creamy texture, pigmentation, wearing, and very flattering color, but they are all lovely. If you’re the type of person that likes to quickly dab a little something on your lips and want a lip product that keeps your lips looking juicy for hours, the Kjaer Weis lip tints are gorgeous, emollient, and come in beautiful colors. They may require some touch ups throughout the day (mainly after eating/drinking), but they fade evenly. You can read more about the Kjaer Weis lip tints here.

The Kjaer Weis lip tints in Amazed, Rapture and Beloved are now available at The Detox Market.

**I just wanted to clarify that in the comparison swatch above with the three colors the darkest shade, Beloved, may seem streaky and uneven, but that’s not because the product applies unevenly. I used a small brush to apply it to my arm which made it appear layered in smaller strokes. It applies as smoothly as the other two colors.
