Holiday Gift Guide #2 — Beauty Gift Sets

Gift Sets Gift Guide

I have always loved the limited editions beauty gift sets that are launched for the Holidays. I don’t remember if I mentioned this last time I wrote a gift guide, but my mom and I used to spend hours at the local profumeria (that’s what beauty shops are called in Italy) and always bought a bunch of them for friends, family members, and my brother’s latest girlfriend *rolls eyes*. Besides saving some money on products that cost more when sold individually, gift sets come in beautiful packaging, so they are an easy way to treat a loved one to something special. There are so many gift set options this year, so I hope that the list I put together is going to help you narrow them down.

Tata Harper Multi-Masking Gift Set. When I opened this box I had a rare, swoon moment because: 1- packaging is gorgeous, 2- I love Tata Harper’s face mask formula, and 3- the set contains three face masks, THREE!. As I mentioned before, the Resurfacing Mask is my favorite blemish treatment (it contains pomegranate enzymes which help to dry the pimple and prevents small blemishes from growing into full-blown pimples). It’s been at least three years since I started to use this mask as blemish treatment, and nothing has worked as well for me. This set comes with the Resurfacing Mask, the Purifying Mask, (still testing it out, and so far I am liking it too. Update: great for drying out blemishes and for a deep cleansing on oily skin) and a limited edition Honey Blossom Resurfacing Mask (which I like not only as a blemish treatment, but as a whole face mask as well. It is also hydrating besides being a “detoxifying” mask). The coolest part is that you can either use them individually or multi-mask, applying each mask onto the area of your face that needs that specific treatment–genius, right? Next on my list to try is the TH Moisturizing Mask, because this girl’s skin has been a lil’ dry lately. Have you tried that one? The gift set is available here.

Henné Organics The Lip Collection In the previous gift guide (under $20, read here) I listed the Henné Organics lip balm tube, which isn’t cheap for a lip balm, but it’s excellent and fit the category for its price anyway. Henné put together a limited edition gift set for the holidays, which includes the best-selling lip balm in the jar, their lip exfoliator, and a lip balm in tube. Basically, whoever you gift with this box can keep the jar by the bed, the exfoliator in the bathroom cabinet, and the tube in their purse/at their desk, and they will never have dry lips until they run out. That’s for sure. The packaging’s look is minimalistic, chic, and luxurious. Available here.

Pai Skincare Instant Radiance Collection Pai makes beautiful gift sets every year and this year my favorite one is this little oval box called Instant Radiance Collection. It includes a mini Pai Skin Brightening Exfoliator (one of the most gentle physical exfoliators I’ve tried) and a rollerball, medium-sized bottle of their Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil. Not only I am a fan of this rosehip oil, but I love the rollerball packaging–so convenient. Easy to apply, no product waste, and travel-friendly. Available here. Use code BLACKPAIDAY to receive 25% off until Monday, November 28th.

Tata Harper Natural Lip Treatment Set Together with the face masks, my favorite Tata Harper products are the lip treatments (I reviewed Be Adored here a while back). They are excellent lip conditioners that melt into the lips and give a natural plumping effect. Two of the three lip treatments included in the set also provide a soft tint that looks more natural than lipstick and gives a flattering color to the lips. The three lip treatments are Be True, (a colorless balm), Be Adored (soft raspberry color) and Be Smitten (magnolia pink).

ILIA Beauty Baggu Gift Set Ilia Beauty has put together a a mini, lip trio gift set, which features three of my favorite lippies from the brand: two tinted lip conditioners in Nobody’s Baby (pink-peachy nude) and Bang Bang (semi-sheer true red), and one semi-matte lipstick in Femme Fatale (medium-dark red). I love minis. The set comes in a pretty, half-moon coppery pouch (please note that the brand is cruelty-free, but the Baggu pouch is not vegan). Available here.

Kjaer Weis Glow Duo Though it’s not a limited edition gift set, I couldn’t leave this one out. It comes with two products that are perfect for this season–the Radiance highlighter and the Dazzling bronzer. The Radiance highlighter has recently gotten a ton of love in Lisa Eldridge’s videos, and the Dazzling bronzer is a sheer but buildable cream bronzer that is also lovely for contouring. You can see swatches of the bronzer here and read my full review of the highlighter here. This gift set comes in a stunning, Kjaer Weis-style red box. The Glow Kit is available here.

W3LL People Holiday Beauty Basics Kit This gift sets features a few makeup basics in a cute silver makeup bag with the brand’s logo on it. The bag contains a black eye pencil, a champagne eyeshadow, the Bio Brightener Stick (a cream highlighter that is great one for people who do not do well with coconut oil) and their new lip gloss in the color Candy Apple Red. The formula of their lip glosses is one my favorites — comfortable and non-sticky at all. Available here.

Honest Beauty Rose Gold Glimmer. A gorgeous box with a rose gold, rose on it, which contains one Honest Beauty Luminizing Powder (in the shade Instant Spark), and two lip glosses, in the shades Lips for Days (nude) and Shine for Nights (berry). I am a little tempted to buy one of these for myself, because I read some reviews saying that the highlighter is fantastic. Available here.

**I will update this post if more gift sets are launched for the holidays. I do expect another great one to launch soon, so keep an eye on social media for my update.
