Favorite Four Face Masks

Best Natural/Organic Face MasksSome days I just do not have more than 3 minutes to look at myself in the mirror, so when I actually get some time to relax and have a little pamper time, I love putting on a good face mask. I have had the hardest time finding masks that would effectively treat my skin without irritating it, but there are a few that I have used for the past couple months that have been working really great for my skin. I just tend to pick one above the other according to my skin’s need and my schedule.

When I have very little time  and I need an emergency facial, I opt for the Tammy Fender Epi-Peel*. It works quickly and really polishes my skin (it takes just as little as 3-5 minutes). The texture is similar to a thick paste. I spread it all over my face with wet fingers, let it sit there for a few minutes and then remove it with a warm, wet cloth. It works magic at refining pores and leaves the skin supple. It is really a facial in a jar (as I expected when I wrote this post). The Epi-Peel really brings my dull skin back to life, making it look fresh and radiant. It is that good.

If I have a few extra minutes I love using La Bella Figura Bio Active Healing Mask*. It smells so good that I would eat it (but please do not use this as an excuse to eat it and then blame me for it!). It is a very gentle, yet effective mask (no tingling with this one) that makes my pores almost disappear.  It contains many powerful ingredients such as Aronia Berry Powder, Amazonian White Clay, Jasmine Flowers, Barbary Fig Seed Oil, Calendula Extract, Turmeric, and the amazing Raw Manuka Honey. One of the few face products that I enjoy so much, that I wish I never had to take off my face.

Another lovely option is La Bella Figura Bio Active Purifying Mask*. Like the Healing Mask, this product smells more like a tasty snack than a skincare product. It contains powerful ingredients like Turmeric and some more specifically detoxifying and antibacterial ingredients such as Australian Sandalwood, Amazonian White Clay, Rhassoul Clay, and White Willow Bark. These ingredients work together to help the skin stay clear of blemishes. Even though it is not meant to be used by the most sensitive skin types, I actually enjoy using it and have never suffered any type of irritation from it.

The Osmia Organics Detox Exfoliating Mask is another detoxifying mask that I love using when I have extra time and I can actually jump in the shower afterward. The reason for that is that this mask first requires a little preparation (mixing the powder with some water) and rinsing it off can get quite messy. However, this mask is brilliant at cleansing pores and refining the texture of my skin. It contains three types of clay to purify the pores as well as raw cacao powder, which is an amazing source of antioxidants and increases blood flow. It is very powerful and gives a little tingling and tightening, but even though my skin is sensitive it has not caused any irritation. It makes my face look renewed!

Do you use face masks? If so, which ones do you like the most?
