Tuesday Toners: Tammy Fender Bulgarian Rose Water

Tammy Fender Bulgarian Rose Water Review

Continuing in the Tuesday Toners series, my pick for this week, the Tammy Fender Bulgarian Rose Water* is one of the most luxurious face mists that I have come across. Not only because it is a Tammy Fender product, but also because it really feels luxurious upon application.

The smell is intoxicating, delicate, and soothing. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft, and gives the perfect amount of hydration before applying a serum, face oil, or moisturizer. I love to use it before applying the MV Skincare Instant Revival Booster* and I find that the two products work particularly well when used together. I apply the rose water with a cotton oval by gently dabbing, and then I massage a few drops of the Instant Booster. I enjoy using it in the evening before bed, especially when my skin needs a product that is extra soothing and hydrating. This is the complete list of ingredients:

*Aqueous Extracts Of Certified Organic Rose (Rosa Damascena) Petals, Pure Bulgarian Rose (Rosa Damascena) Water (99.8 % Active), Dehydroacetic Acid And Benzyl Alcohol (Natural Preservative System), Colloidal Silver.

*Certified Organic

The two main ingredients in the mist are Bulgarian Rose Essence, which is considered a powerful rejuvenator that repairs and tones the skin, and Colloidal Silver, which is used to treat acne and skin infections.

Given that my major goal when using a toner/toning mist is actually to hydrate the skin, revitalize, and balance it, I think that Tammy Fender Bulgarian Rose Water is one of the finest in the category because it makes the skin feel and look supple, hydrated, and calm. However, at $65, it is also one of the most expensive toners. Apparently, because in order to produce one single drop of Bulgarian Rose Essence, more than seven thousands rose petals are needed.

You can find it at The Detox Market.
