Kjaer Weis Eye Shadow (is) Divine

I gave you a little break from my raving about Kjaer Weis’ products, but I could not withhold myself any longer! From the gorgeous packaging and beautiful shades to the blendable textures, I just keep finding new KW products to love. Today’s product is one of my favorite eye shadows from the line, called Divine (which I find to be a very appropriate name for it). Gray eye shadow is actually one of the makeup trends for this Fall and it was used in several fashion shows. In some shows it was used to create strong, graphic-eye looks (Salvatore Ferragamo), while in others it was used for a light wash of color over the entire lid (Alexander Wang). However, I like to make it a bit more wearable by blending it well on my lid just above the crease line for an evening smokey eye.

The shade is a neutral graphite gray. It is free of shimmer, but has a beautiful satin, luminous finish. It is nicely pigmented so it can be applied lightly for a subtle wash of color, or can be intensified by applying a little extra product. I love how it blends easily and stays put without budging or creasing.

Kjaer Weis’ glamorous eye shadow compacts retail for $44 at The Detox Market, while the refills (magnetic palette-friendly) retail for $22 (at The Detox Market). This was totally worth the splurge in my humble opinion. I am already planning to add Wisdom and Pretty Purple to my Kjaer Weis makeup collection (I will provide you with photos of the shades Magnetic and Cloud Nine very soon, so stay tuned!)
